At East Park, we believe that every member has something to contribute which benefits the entire body and that every member is a minister of Jesus Christ (1 Cor.12.1-7; 1 Pet.4.10). Spiritual gifts and abilities differ and so do the opportunities for service. Our ministries are focused on the two areas of outreach and discipleship.

Adult Sunday School

There are currently three adult classes each studying different topics:

  • The Berean Class is studying verse-by-verse through the Gospel of Luke.
  • The Maranatha Class is studying the foundational chapters of Genesis 1-11
(with a focus on Creation vs. Evolution).
  • Timothian Class is engaged in further study and discussion of the pastor's morning message.
Special Needs Ministry

During the Sunday evening service we have a special teaching time adapted to the specific needs of an autistic student/member.

We have age graded Sunday School classes for those nursery age through 6th grade.

Daniel’s Band—A children’s program on Wednesday nights for ages 3-6th grade. The children learn Bible lessons that will help them stand for God as did Daniel and his friends.

Children’s Church—During the morning worship service children ages 4 years old - 6th grade
have the opportunity to learn at their level. Our children’s church is designed to edify, not merely entertain.

Our teen ministries include summer camp for junior and senior high, mission trips, youth conferences, monthly teen activities, service opportunities, and Wednesday night teen meetings.

College & Career (age 18-32)

Those who have graduated from high school and are in college or working a job find this class fits their position in life. The College & Career class seeks both discipleship and service.

Lady's Bible Study

Our "Women of Faith" group study is helping women grow in their relationship with God through personal interaction and study of God's Word. The current session is studying "Idols of the Heart" a book by Elise Fitzpatrick. Women of Faith meet at the church the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month at 8:00 am.

Men’s Bible Study

Our men's Bible study seeks to develop men in the likeness of Christ so they will be godly leaders. Our current topic of study is on the book of Ephesians as we strive for the "worthy walk". The men meet at the church the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month at 8:00 am.

Music is an important part of our church and those with abilities can participate in the choir, special music, or join our developing orchestra.

Each year we engage in various types of outreach to broadcast the gospel of Christ. Mission trips, Vacation Bible School, community picnics, and local canvassing are some of the ways we are trying to reach our city and world with the gospel.

Every Christian should be involved in some aspect of gospel outreach, and our visitation program makes this possible.
